100% out of date but i'll keep it mostly how it is because of the memories :)
spoilers ahead!
My Favourite Villains[]
- Doctor Brenner (Stranger Things). At first I thought he was the American XD
- Carter Burke (Aliens). I mean, not a lot of conflicting morals here, but he was entertaining and proof that the humans are just as bad as the aliens.
- Alien Queen (Alien franchise). The parallel scene between her and Ripley is SO GOOD
- Count Olaf (ASOUE) duh
Favourite Warriors Characters[]
- Jayfeather
- Whitestorm
- Crookedstar
- Tallstar
- Cinderpelt
- Ivypool
- Gray Wing
- Tall Shadow
- Honorable mention: Hollyleaf isn’t my favorite but I like her... more than most people at least
- Honorable mention 2.0: Redtail! I feel terrible for him. He seemed like a decent, brave dude that had some flaws.
Least Favourite Warriors Characters[]
- Tigerstar the second
- Bramblestar
- Leopardstar
- Blossomfall
- Thistleclaw
Favourite/Least Favorite Warriors Books[]
Arc Opener: The Sun Trail (Least: The Sight)
Arc Closer: The Last Hope (Least: The Raging Storm)
Super Edition: Tallstar’s, Crookedstar’s, Moth Flight’s. (Least: Tigerstar’s by a wide margin)
Book from each arc:
- The entire first arc was great.
- Starlight. (Don’t kill me!) Moonrise is very close though.
- Long Shadows
- I need to do a reread but based of my memories from when I was 9 I‘ll say... The Last Hope. Although i remember the whole arc being pretty good.
- The First Battle/The Blazing Star
- Shattered Sky.
- Imma wait for all the TBC books to be released.
Novella: Mapleshade’s Vengeance (Least: Spottedleaf‘s Heart)
Ranking the Warriors Protagonists (BIG WIP DON’T JUDGE)[]
(Stormfur, and the one-book peeps don’t count but most of them are pretty great!)
I was inspired by YT so here we go. From best to worst
Very good:
- Jayfeather (perfection!)
- Gray Wing (perfection 2.0)
- Ivypool (I absolutely LOVE her! Her arc and purpose are kinda over, but I definitely sympathize! She had a very interesting arc and I think better development than her sister.)
- Firestar (a very solid protagonist! I miss him sometimes...)
- Squirrelflight
Good:
- Thunderstar (I don’t remember him that much ;-;)
- Dovewing
- Violetshine
- Shadowsight (he’s a good, solid character! I like his personality, relationship with his parents, and the way he’s being written is so cool! I love the whole “voices in his head“ bit. I think he has the most potential out of our new characters)
- Hollyleaf (post power of three Hollyleaf is great!)
A bit generic/okay/average/well written but I don’t like them:
- Alderheart (he’s sweet but the raging storm ruined his character for me.)
- Twigbranch (she’s good, but kinda feels like a redo of previous protagonists)
- Lionblaze (booooooring!)
- Rootspring (his social awkwardness is cute but it’s getting annoying)
- Clear Sky (I mean he’s written well but man what a jerk!!)
I cannot stand/extremely overrated:
- Leafpool (overrated. I just don't like her, she's never held accountable for her mistakes and isn't very interesting)
- Bristlefrost (i just can’t stand her... the way she’s constantly switching sides gets kinda repetitive.”
- Bramblestar (I just hate him. I honestly prefer the imposter.)
I think I’d be a bit kinder on Leafpool and a bit meaner on Hollyleaf if it weren’t for how the fandom feels about them. This list is a biiiig wip XD
Top Five Standalone Books[]
- The Book Thief (Markus Zusak). This is possibly the best book ever written. Every character is well developed, it’s heartbreaking, and it takes on a really uncommon perspective. There are so many things I could say about this book... but for now I’ll just cry.
- Station Eleven (Emily St. John Mandel). Like, way too relevant for a book written 5 years ago.
- Watership Down (Richard Adams). Heartbreaking every time!
- Animal Farm (George Orwell)
- The Graveyard Book (Neil Gaiman)

5 Least Favorite Canon or Semi-Canon Ships[]
A section where I get madder and madder. No hate, please!
- Ashburn (Star Trek Discovery) ewwwwwww.. hope the guy in the season 3 trailer is better
- Winterwatcher (WoF) I get that people like it because it’s "realistic” that he’s mean to her and abuses her. But Wings of Fire is set in a Utopian world. Sure, there’s government corruption and stuff, but to have two of our main characters in an abusive relationship? I get why people are ok with it, but I’m not. (Okay, maybe I don’t HATE this one, I just don’t understand why it has so many fans.)
- Graystripe x Millie (Warriors) so he’s gonna abandon her for a cat he met when he was a kid and knew for 1/4 as long. And she’ll be waiting for him in StarClan meanwhile he’s gonna run over to Silverstream?? Good luck explaining that to your kids man
- Basically any recent canon couple (warriors). ROOTSPRING X SHADOWSIGHT. //flips over table// (the exception being stemleaf x spotfur but that got ruined)
- Apollo and Starbuck (no not Starbucks jeez), Battlestar Galactica. AHHHH THANKS FOR RUINING MY SEASON(s) PEOPLES
- (this is a bonus XD) Worst of all is Edward and Bella from Twilight. He’s just a broody guy with no character, he stalks her, sneaks into her window each night, leaves her and then comes back and expects to be loved. Not to mention the fact that he’s 200 or something and she’s... 17? I mean, I get that you can marry whoever you want, but this guy whos a million times your age? Jacob isn’t even that great but... the alternative? Ew. (Note: Angel and Buffy from the Buffyverse is a lot less creepy if you feel like watching a teenage girl and a vampire 50 times her age... Also, it came first.)
8 Favourite Webtoons[]
- Castle Swimmer
- Toaster Dude
- Green & Gold
- Cursed Princess Club
- Seed
- Lone
- In The Bleak Midwinter
- City of Blank
Ranking the 9 Lunar Chronicles Protagonists[]
feel free to disagree! I’m ranking the characters based on how much I like their personality, not their PoV. I’m not including the Stars Above/Fairest protagonists just to keep this simple
Tier One
- Cinder. Best character in every way. She’s smart but not arrogant, she‘s extremely capable, and unlike literally every other female character doesn’t let romance get in the way of her mission. (She’s often a pragmatist, which is unusual for a female lead). She and Kai have a sweet relationship, and she’s overall just a very solid and likeable character.
- Iko. I SAY THAT SHE COUNTS, YOU CAN’T FIGHT ME. She’s so well written! She has more personality than Jacin and Wolf combined, how is no one falling for her?
- Kai. Love this guy!! He isn’t super generic, he and Cinder have a sweet relationship, he isn’t toxic at all. His major flaw is putting Cinder before his kingdom but hey, at least he isn’t a Gary Stu XD
Tier Two:
- Thorne. The amount in which I like them has dropped quite a bit. I kinda love-hate this guy. He’s the funniest, most charismatic, most entertaining by far, and the most self-aware. I put him above Cress because (I know I said I wouldn’t do this but whatever) his PoV was fun, and he had a decent backstory too. He‘s also really disgusting at the same time, and I am not a fan of him x Cress
- Cress. She’s a pretty solid character, although I hated her when she first appeared. She and Thorne don‘t mix well in my opinion, and I kinda skimmed the page whenever they were getting romantic development. Still, she’s a good character; smart, willing to fight for what she believes in.
- Winter. Although she got on my nerves a little bit, I thought it was really brave for the author to portray a character like her. I didn’t like how her story ended, though.
Tier Three:
- Scarlet. She had some good moments, but was overall a boring character.
- Jacin. Scarlet is amazing compared to him and Wolf. Jacin is just... boring. He seems flawless, is a typical knight-in-shining armor, and, well, the forbidden romance just makes things worse.
- Wolf. EW. The age gap between him and Scarlet is just... I mean, it would be fine, but 16 and 20? blech
