book one, the new dragons.[]
chapter 1, the first day.[]
capricorn walked into jade academy, the grand hall was huge, with the gong at the end, she sat next to a glow spot morph, 2 wing starwing that was sunny yellow with golden glow spots, it then said out of nowhere "hi! i'm solar! i'm the starwing for gold winglet!" (since the last book that took place in jade academy starwings were added to each winglet.) and capricorn responded "erm, i'm capricorn? sorry, just a little nervous, it's my first time." and solar's tail wiggled as she said "hey! looks like we're in the same year then! they're sorting starwings right now-" but she was cut off by the gong and the seawing there said "capricorn! you are the starwing for jade winglet!" and she is bekoned over by a pink and yellow rainwing dragonet, capricorn walked over and the skywing said "so, looks like you're with us now-" but is cut off by the rainwing saying "hi! my name's kinkajou! this is peril *points at skywing* that's turtle *points at seawing* that's moonwatcher *points at nightwing* that's quibli *points at sandwing* and i don't know who the other 2 are!" wow, that's a lot of dragons... capricorn thought "erm, i'm capricorn? again, kinda nervous, first day." kinkajou perked up, then said "well then, guys, let's show her around!" and kinkajou grabbed capricorn and ran out of the grand hall and into the caves, the first place they stop is what kinkajou says is the library, but they leave before capricorn can meet the other dragons there, they go through the other places, and capricorn found stonemover's cave interesting, especially the story behind it, they finaly circle back to the grand hall where the clawmates for this year are being announced, and capricorn ends up with kinkajou and moonwatcher, the unnamed mudwing was moved with quibli and turtle, after that long of a day like this, capricorn instantly flopped on the last open sleeping spot and dozed off as her oldest sister's words rang in her head tomorrow's a new day, and maybe a new adventure.
chpt. 2, the message[]
a snout nudged capricorn in the side and a voice said "c'mon capricorn! or you're gonna be late!" and capricorn woke up to kinkajou trying to roll her over, capricorn got up and asked "so where do we go first?" and kinkajou said "well, first years normally have webs first, but who knows, that might've changed, i'd give it a go anyway." and kinkajou grabbed all of her stuff and headed for the door whelp, guess i should go to... and she followed kinkajou out the door and into the crowded hallways to where she saw what kinkajou told her was the history classroom, the cave covered in maps, as she remembered it, she was joined by the other 4 starwings, she recognized solar as soon as she walked in, she got to her spot and saw there was a message on it that said "find me at the prey center today, i've found something, a starwing relic."
