A Cars fanfic with MILD SPOILERS FOR THE Cars MOVIE
Preface[]
15-year-old Sally Deren was driving along the road when an older car, who was 30, decided to kidnap her and throw her into a race- literally. Poor Sally knew nothing about racing, besides that Lightning McQueen was in it and a racer named Chick Hicks injured a racer called the King. The 30-year-old had just carelessly thrown her into the fire (NOT literally) with trained adults. The teenager screamed, "Mom!" However, she didn't know that her mom had gone shopping. Without her. Sally gulped and said, "Oh, snap. I'm in trouble."
Chapter One[]
Lightning skidded to a halt when he saw a very terrified teenager in the ring. Being 40 and very sympathetic, he said, "What-??" Sally looked up at him with fear in her sea-blue eyes. "A-a older c-car threw m-me in h-here!" Lightning looked very much concerned, understandably. "Sheriff would be good in this situation..." Sara said, "Y-yeah." Meanwhile, the evil 30-year-old was laughing. Lightning easily picked out who did it. He looked around and frowned as he looked around for an exit. Lightning contacted Security and quietly talked to them about the situation. One of them, Josh Vaier, frowned and said, "Gosh! That's so cruel!" Another Security van, Harris Vaier, arrested the 30-year-old, Wyatt Quer (Q-er), because it was illegal to put a civilian in the racing circuit, especially someone who was a minor. Lightning waved to the youth and raced off. Josh went with Sara to protect her and because she was still quite shaken up. Two hours later, they found the young car's mother, who was very happy to see her daughter after two hours and 30 minutes of being missing. She had almost called the police, but fate decided it didn't want 30 cops looking for a missing teen.
Chapter Two[]
"Mom... Will you please not leave me again?" asked Sally quietly. Sara thought of what her daughter had gone through and hugged her. "I will never let you go."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"I love you, Mom."
"I love you too, sweetie."
Sally let go, feeling very protected and loved. They went back to their home after getting something to drink because Cars doesn't work the same way my stories work. Sally drew a picture of her mom and herself next to each other, looking happy in the picture. She happily showed it off. Sara smiled at the realistically-drawn picture with color. Sara drew her daughter but didn't use color like most people in our world. She taped it to the wall of where Sally sleeps because I have NO idea of how bedrooms work, or if they even have them. Sally left the area she was in and went into her sleeping area. She smiled at the picture, signed, "Mom <3". Her friend drove over to her. "Hey, girl!" Then she said in a quieter voice, "I heard what happened to you earlier. Sorry about that. Mom was also worried about you." Sally nodded grimly.
Chapter Three[]
Sally sighed. She missed her father. He had died a cruel death.
