I heard there was a special place...
Where men would go and emancipate...
Tommy leaned back and sighed. 3 hours. He had 3 hours before Dream and Technoblade came to destroy L'Manberg. And the worst part was...
Tommy wasn't even sure if he cared anymore.
Everyone hated him. Even Niki! The biggest sweetheart on the server couldn't trust a thing he said. He understood completely. He was wrong. He had always been wrong. But acting as the egotistical, arrogant, destructive teenager was the perfect protective shield. Nobody would suspect how he really felt on the inside.
The tyranny, and brutality,
Of their ruler...
Eret's betrayal had cut deep. After months, he was able to cover up that wound. But Will's betrayal... That had cut him so deep that he wasn't sure he could ever recover. Wilbur Soot, his own brother, had blown up his home! Now, Wilbur was a ghost, and Tommy didn't have the heart to tell him what he had done.
Well, this place is real, you needn't fret,
With Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, f*ck Eret...
And then, even Tubbo, HIS Tubbo, had him exiled. Not Ranboo, but just him. That was the biggest betrayal of all. Dream, Techno, Schlatt, Ghostbur... None of that mattered. All he wanted was his best friend.
It's a very big and not blown up L'Manberg...
Tommy felt a tear trailing down his cheek, and he hated himself for it. He shouldn't care. He can't be weak. If he's going to be in a war, he needed to act like a soldier. But he couldn't stop the sobs that came out of him. All he wanted was his friends. Ghostbur, Niki, Fundy, Ranboo, Quackity, Tubbo... He just wanted them back. But Niki and Fundy would likely never trust him again, Ranboo barely remembered a thing, Quackity didn't talk to him anymore, and Tubbo...
My L'Manberg...
"Tommy?" asked a faint voice behind him. He quickly wiped his face and turned to see Ghostbur, who floated next to him. "Are you okay?" Ghostbur asked. Tommy almost said he was fine, but stopped himself. He wasn't fine. Not at all. "Ghostbur, what are the others saying about me?" The ghost smiled at him sadly. "Well, Fundy's still fuming about his fight with Ranboo, Quackity's talking to Tubbo about something, and Niki's writing in a book. They all look pretty sad, though."
My L'Manberg...
Tommy sighed again and turned to his friend. "Wilbur... Is it all my fault? Would everything be better if I wasn't here?" Surprised, the ghost accidentally phased through the bench where they were sitting. "What? Tommy, most of these people became friends because of you! This whole nation, we only got our freedom because of you! You need to stay with us, everyone needs you!" Tommy cracked a smile at his friend's distress. "Alright, alright, I get it. But, Ghostbur, can you promise me just one thing?"
My L'Manberg...
"Of course." Tommy suddenly hugged the ghost of his brother. It was very cold, and kind of misty, but he didn't care. "Promise that you'll always stay with me. Promise you won't ever leave me, okay?" Ghostbur hugged back. "I promise. And I'm sure everyone else promises too." "Wha-" Tommy was suddenly hugged by Tubbo, followed by Niki, Ranboo, Fundy, Quackity, and Eret. "We're all in this together, okay?" said Quackity. "We're not leaving you." said Niki. "We'll always be friends!" said Ranboo. "We'll save our home." said Fundy. "I'm sorry." said Eret. Tubbo grabbed Tommy's hands and forced him to look up. "We'll be together forever, alright? It's you and me 'til the end."
